FCTA Trains 200 Staff On Standard Operating Procedures

The Federal Capital Territory  Administration (FCTA) has commenced strategic training of its workforce in compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.

FCTA Permanent Secretary, Olusade Adesola, while declaring the workshop open on Wednesday said the training was to ensure the promotion of accuracy, efficiency, transparency, and service delivery in the public sector.

Adesola noted that the 10-day training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for over 200 staff drawn from 12 secretariats, departments, and agencies of the administration is expected to culminate in the digitalisation of service processes and operations.

The training is coming barely a year after the launch of the Standard of Operations Procedures, a component of the Enterprise Content Management System of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan, 2021-2025 by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The secretary added that the deployment of SOPs will help to reduce miscommunication and promote adherence to industry regulations.
