FEC Meeting: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Presides Over Convergence In Abuja

Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

The development comes on the heels of President Muhammadu Buhari's three-day visit to Madrid, the capital city of Spain.

Personalities at the meeting include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, and other ministers.

Those noticeably absent are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo; Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare; and the Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd).

The above individuals are not in the FEC meeting as they are part of the president's delegation to Spain.
