Federal Polytechnic, Bida Appoints New Registrar, Bursar

The administration of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger, has approved the appointment of Malam Hussaini Enagi and Malam Sidique Marufu as Registrar and Bursar of the institution respectively.

The polytechnic's Deputy Registrar, Information and Protocol, Malam Abubakar Dzukogi disclosed the appointments in a statement issued on Thursday in Bida. 

Dzukogi noted that the approval of the appointments of the officials was made at the polytechnic’s 89th council meeting held on July 26.

Enagi, an indigene of Niger, had been a Deputy Registrar at the polytechnic for eight years and served as the Deputy Registrar, Council Affairs as well as the Public Relations Officer of the institution.

The former PRO who holds a Master's degree in Public Relations is also a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria.

On the other hand, Marufu, an indigene of  Kwara State who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting was a Chief Accountant at Kwara Polytechnic, Offa.

He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Dzukogi stated that suggestions were passed to the governing council after the selection board committee conducted interviews for the positions of Registrar and Bursar.

Ugo Chima, the Council chairman, expressed fulfilment with the process of the selection,  describing the registry and bursary of the polytechnic as the engine rooms.

Chima encouraged the appointees to add value to the institution by utilising their wealth of experience in their duties.
