The couple first met while Torres was playing for Manchester City, and they began a secretive long-distance relationship.

After the conclusion of the 2020 European Championships, Torres and Martinez made their relationship public.

In a bid to be closer to his partner, Torres, 23, made the move to Barcelona last summer after being bought from Manchester City.
