The Federal Government has directed the immediate repair of Gombe - Bauchi road and others affected by recent flooding.
The others include Gombe - Darazo road, Ibadan– Ile Ife road; Bauchi–Ningi road; Bida–Lambata road of Niger state and Tsamiya bridge in Jigawa State.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) on Tuesday at a brief meeting.
While speaking at the meeting in Abuja, the minister said the government will continue to repair roads with similar problems across the country.
He further reiterated the government's commitment towards infrastructural development, adding that public complaints will be responded to promptly.
Fashola appealed to commuters to exercise patience as the government moves to give them good roads promptly despite excessive rains.
