FIFA Ban On Juventus Officials Extends To Tottenham Director Fabio Paratici

FIFA, the soccer governing body, has announced that it will extend the bans imposed on Juventus officials to apply worldwide, affecting current Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football, Fabio Paratici.

The decision comes after an Italian soccer court investigating the club's transfer dealings and finances imposed a 30-month ban on Paratici and several other officials from holding office in Italian soccer.

In January, Serie A's Juventus have also deducted 15 points for the season. Juventus has denied any wrongdoing and has appealed the ruling.

Tottenham said it had received late confirmation of FIFA's decision and is urgently seeking clarification regarding the extension's details and variance from the FIGC sanction.

Paratici's future at Tottenham is now in doubt, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the club, which is currently searching for a new manager after parting ways with Antonio Conte on Sunday.
