FIFA President Gifts Buhari No. 10 Jersey After Visit

President Mohammadu Buhari receives a No. 10 jersey from FIFA President Gianni Infantino after an official visit to the statehouse in Abuja.

The FIFA President was accompanied by CAF President Patrice Motsepe, NFF President Amaju Pinnick, and Sports Minister Sunday Dare on the visit.

Aisha Buhari Invitational Women’s Tournament holding in Lagos was the major reason for Infantino and Motsepe's visit but the presentation of the Nigerian president with the No. 10 jersey has stolen the limelight on the occasion.

Beyond attending the showpiece invitational, CAF President Motsepe is scheduled to meet with different stakeholders in Nigeria to discuss the advancement of football in Africa, especially women’s football.
