Fifty People Benefit From UN Cholera/Coronavirus Interventio

Tofa local government in Kano has promised continued support and cooperation to present administration policies and programs towards sustainable development of the area.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Council, Nafi'u Haruna Garba Yarimawa while addressing fifty beneficiaries of Cholera/Coronavirus support donated by United Nations Children Education Fund and distributed by Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency to Eight Local Governments in the state as contained in a statement by the Information Officer of the local government, Abdu Baƙo Abdullahi.

Nafi'u Haruna Garba Yarimawa stated that the present administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is executing developmental projects that would improve the livelihood of the people across the State.

He thanked the United Nations Children Education Fund and RUWASA for their support and concern to achieve the set objectives, urging eneficiaries to make best use of the items in appropriate directions.

The local government Chairman also commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje's effort in the area of Security, Employment Opportunities, Agriculture, Science Technology and Innovation and Investment to boost economy of the state at large.

Also speaking the Director personnel Management, Mustapha Sheriff Anwar reassured local Government determination to Government policies and programs to yield a positive result.

In his remarks, the Head of Water Sanitation and Hygiene in the area, Bashir Mudi Karaye thanked the council chairman for his commitment to ensure that Tofa Local Government was among the eight local Governments that benefite from United Nations Children Education Fund and Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency projects and promised to continue to work hand in hand with the Government Agencies to achieve the set goal.
