Fintiri Bags Traditional Title Of 'Gyana Bachama'

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has bagged a traditional title of 'Gyana Bachama' in Lamurde.

The governor was turbanned on Saturday by paramount ruler of Bachama Kingdom, Homun Daniel Shaga Ismaila, Hama Bachama.

The event which held in Lamurde, the headquarters of Bachama Traditional Council was attended by State Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth amongst numerous government officials. 

In his remark, the traditional ruler said the title was an additional burden on the governor to continue to lead the path for peace.

He further prayed that the title would lead to progress and development of the land.

He also commended the governor's effort in ensuring peace and security of the Bachama Kingdom. 

"Your Excellency, you have brought peace in our land. 

"Our people now go to their farms in peace without any fear of attacks. 

"I wish you the best of luck in the forthcoming elections and beyond."

While appreciating the monarch for the honour, Fintiri said it would push him to do more in promotion of good governance.
