Fintiri Inaugurates Six New Judges In Yola

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has inaugurated six new judges in the state. 

The inauguration took place on Tuesday at the State's Government House in Yola. 

The governor charged the judges to protect the the judiciary as the last hope for the common man.

Those sworn in as High Court judges include Muhammad Ibrahim Tola, Ahmad Isa, Christopher Dominic Mapeo and Benjamin Manji.

The others included Yusuf Khalid as Grand Khadi while Abdabala Nicholas was sworn in as Customary Court judge. 

The Governor congratulated the new Judges for their appointments.

He reminded them of the need to reflect on the oath they have taken.

This was contained in a statement signed by the media aide to the governor Muhammad Bakari Tukur.

According to Tukur, Justice Muhammad Tola who spoke on behalf of the newly sworn-in judges commended the governor for his reforms in the state's judiciary.

The oath of office and allegiance were administered on the new judges by the Acting Chief Judge, Justice Hapsat Abdulrahman.
