Fintiri Mourns Elder Statesman Sali, Attends Funeral In Yola

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has mourned the death of elder statesman Muhammadu Chubadu Sali in Yola, the state's capital.

Sali died after a protracted illness at the Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital, Yola on Thursday.

Fintiri was among hundreds of mourners that attended the funeral prayer in Yola. 

The Governor also sympathised with the deceased family and people of Yola South over the huge loss.

Fintiri said the death of the elder statesman will be sorely missed as he has contributed immensely to the development of democracy in the state.

He further prayed to Allah to grant the soul of the decease eternal rest and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
