Fintiri Stands Out Among Ex-Adamawa Governors — Atiku

The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has said that governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stands out among former governors of Adamawa State. 

Atiku said no governor has achieved in impacting the lives of the people more than Fintiri since 1999.

The former vice president made this known on Wednesday when he arrived at the Yola International Airport.

He was received by Governor Fintiri, other government officials as well as members of the PDP and other supporters. 

Atiku, who arrived in Yola ahead of the Saturday governorship election, said Fintiri has performed well in the areas of education, health, security and Infrastructure among others.

He said someone who has achieved these deserves to be re-elected. 

Atiku called on the PDP members not to be discouraged by the poor performance of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He noted that it should rather be a challenge to Nigerians to strengthen the democratic process.

He thanked the people of Adamawa State for the overwhelming support given to him in the last elections, asking them to remain resilient, strong, and committed in the gubernatorial polls.
