Fintiri Swears In New Member Of Judicial Service Commission

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has sworn in a new member of the state's Judicial Service Commission.

The new member is identified as Alhaji Sanusi Suleiman Duhu. 

The oath of office and allegiance was administered on the new member by the state's Solicitor General, Samuel Yaumande.

During the swearing-in ceremony in Yola on Thursday, the governor congratulated Duhu for the new appointment.

He charged him to stand for justice and due process for everyone while carrying out his assignment.

The governor acknowledged the pedigree of the appointee and urged him to discharge his duties well within the next five years of his tenure.

This was contained in a statement by Humwashi Wonosikou, spokesperson to the governor, on Thursday.

“We will continue in that trajectory to bring the best who have the capacity to deliver and the interest of the state at heart."

Fintiri also used the medium to congratulate Muslims across the world on the commencement of the Ramadan fasting.

He appealed to the Muslims in Adamawa to pray for the state. 

Meanwhile, in his vote of thanks, the sworn-in member of the Judicial Service Commission, Duhu, appreciated the governor for considering him worthy of the appointment.
