Fintiri Vows To Reward Politicians For PDP's Victory In Adamawa

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has vowed to reward politicians for the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) election victory in the state.

Fintiri made this known on Thursday when he hosted stakeholders of the PDP at the State Government House in Yola, the state's capital.

The governor urged the party stakeholders to select deserving individuals for political appointments, with a focus on youth and women representation.

The governor said the list from all the 21 Local Government Areas of the state should be between 15 to 20.

He stressed that the selection process should prioritize hard work and dedication, devoid of any self-interest.

Governor Fintiri further urged party members, regardless of their previous actions or inactions, to come together for the greater good of the state.

As contained in a statement by Muhammad B. Tukur, New Media aide to the governor, Fintiri acknowledged their expertise and support as crucial for the overall development and progress of the state.

Drawing from the experience gained during the first tenure, the governor reiterated his administration's commitment to work tirelessly for the betterment of all residents in the state.

Also speaking, the State Chairman of the PDP, Barrister Tahir Shehu, commended the Fintiri-led administration for its accomplishments during the first term.

He highlighted the administration's efforts in enhancing security and promoting peaceful coexistence among the people. 

Shehu called upon all party members to rally behind the second-term administration, emphasizing the significance of patience, as he believed that destiny cannot be altered.
