Ministry Of Finance Headquarters On Fire

The Federal Ministry of Finance Headquarters located in the Central Area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is currently on fire.

The details of the inferno as of the time of filing this report are sketchy, however, operatives of the federal fire service are on ground battling to quench the fire

The spokesperson of the Federal Fire Service, Abraham Paul, confirmed the incident, saying work is ongoing to reduce damages.

Similarly, on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the headquarters of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) was burnt.

It was learned that the fire started from the office of the Special Adviser to the FMBN Managing Director, Ahmed Dangiwa, and later moved to the boardroom of the bank.
