Fire Kills Two At Muna IDP Camp

A fire outbreak at a Muna Internally Displaced Person’s camp in Borno State has left two persons dead.

Reports said the fire that started at around 11:00 pm on Friday also left 20 persons injured as the blazing fire ruined 100 shelters in the camp.

Borno State Emergency Management Agency and Borno State Fire Service teams are said to still be on site assessing the damages done, while the injured have since been referred to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the incidence is yet to be ascertained

Muna IDP Camp has previously had two fire incidences in two days, which destroyed over 500 shelters.
