Overnight inferno has razed Oja Oba market in Ikirun town, Osun State.
According to reports, the fire started Friday midnight and all efforts to reach the Osun State Fire Service proved futile.
The fire service was later reached through its Public Relations Officer (PRO) who promised to swing into action.

On contacting the Federal Fire Service, Osun Command, the PRO, Adijat Basiri revealed that she got information.
"We declined going there due to security reasons. We requested for security back-up but couldn’t get one because Ikirun is a hot zone where we are usually attacked. This has occurred about twice in the past,” Bashiri told Daily Post
As at the time of this report, numbers to the Osun Fire Service could not be reached to get their own side of the story.
