In recent years, Nigerians' immigration to Canada has become increasingly popular. Why? It is believed that immigrating to Canada offers a whole lot of opportunities that are not available in Nigeria.

Canada is a country in North America and it is the second-largest country in the world.

With that said, if you are looking to migrate to Canada, here are some of the top cities to consider.

Ontario

Obviously, a larger number of Nigerians migrate to Canada because they want greener pastures, therefore, Ontario is one of the right choices to think of when considering where to live.

Ontario provides a very favourable environment for immigrants w.ho are seeking employment. Also, there is a low unemployment rate in the city because it  offers high-paying jobs

Ottawa

Unlike other cities in Canada, Ottawa has a lower cost of living, with affordable housing and accessible means of transportation.

Therefore, if you need a city where you can work while schooling in Canada, Ottawa is the best option.

Saskatchewan

According to history, Saskatchewan welcomes more than 9,000 immigrants every year from over 180 nations across the globe.

What attracts immigrants to Saskatchewan is its friendly provincial nominee program that is designed to make immigration easy for people with experience and skills that are in high demand.

Saskatchewan

For the past decade, the city had more individuals relocating to the province from other regions of the country than those leaving.

Saskatchewan is also known for its payment of ample salary. For the past five years, the average weekly wage for Saskatchewan workers has stood around $970, making it the third-best in the country.

Another advantage is that over the years, the median salary has also been steadily increasing.

Quebec

Some Nigerians want to migrate to Canada for the purpose of furthering their education. If that is the case, Quebec is the best city to move to.

The city houses some of the highly reputable universities like McGill University, Concordia University, HEC Montreal, and more.

Vancouver

Oftentimes, Vancouver is rated one of the most livable cities in the world. It is located in the lower mainland of British Columbia.

Temperatures in the city are much milder than the rest of Canada, being less hot in summer and less cold in winter.

Generally speaking, summers are hot and in winter it rarely snows in the city but quite in the mountains, allowing you to practice winter sports.
