Most of all the 20 teams in the top five European leagues have had to part with a large number of players in their national teams because of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar

This is especially true of clubs that are fighting for the top of the table. These clubs typically send more players to the World Cup than others trying to avoid relegation.

We take a look at the top five clubs with the most player representation at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar: 

5. Real Madrid With 13 Players

Building one of the strongest squads in Europe and having the player of the year, Real Madrid sent 14 of their main players to Qatar to represent their own respective countries.
