Five Times Brymo Bragged About His Lyrical Prowess

 

Fans of Nigerian singer Olawale Ọlọfọrọ better known as Brymo are sure used to him bragging about his prowess when it comes to making music. Brymo who is undoubtedly sound in his deliveries started recording music in 1999 while in secondary school.

He signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010 but was accused of breaching his contract with the label in 2013.

AllNews reports that Brymo is not new to boasting of his works and personality on Twitter, from declaring himself the best, to saying that no artiste has ever produced an album better than his.

The singer who has remained in a space of his own over the years first stirred reactions on social media after he declared himself the greatest artiste alive. This platform has put together a few of the times he bragged in the social media community.

He 'Sang Biggest Afrobeats Song'

In December 2019, he said he was the artiste of the decade and sang the biggest afrobeats song, dubbed 'Ara'. Brymo also bragged about his voice in Iceprince Zamani's hit song 'Oleku'

"I’m Nigeria’s Artiste of The Decade. Oleku was the right to express deeply, and the biggest Afrobeats song ever..an honor it was my voice ..S/o @Iceprincezamani ... Ara is bigger than any other song in Nigeria since its release... and I curated ‘the alternative’," he tweeted.

'Best Album Of 2020'

The same month, he declared that his album 'Yellow' was the world best of 2020. it is safe to say that Brymo's deliveries in tracks on the album is underrated.

“Back to finishing up the world’s best album of 2020…” he tweeted.

'Greatest Artiste Alive'

Brymo, also once declared that he is the greatest alive, sings, performs, and writes songs better than other artistes, who according to him need to put in much efforts in music.

He wrote “In 2010 they said I had no personality, in 2012 they said I didn’t have enough swag. 2013 they said I was too angry, 2015 they said I was too vulgar. 2018 I was too deep.. but I am the greatest alive, your faves still have to write better, sing better, and perform better than me.”

'Only Professional artiste in Nigeria' 

In April this year, he bragged about being the only professional artiste the country has ever produced.

The "Ara" crooner described himself as an A-lister who writes and earns on the highest professional level.

"Let me help… an A-lister is an artist who performs, writes, presents their music, and also earn on the highest professional level possible in a specific music market…

"In Nigeria, I’m the only truly, professional artiste, there is, best songwriter, best performer…come on!,” he tweeted.

On Tuesday, July 7, he declared himself the fastest-growing musician across the globe.

"I’m the fastest-growing musician in the world," he tweeted.
