Flooding: Many Worshippers Feared Dead As Church Collapses In Anambra

Many people are feared dead following the collapse of Madonna Catholic Church in Anambra State.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.

The church which is located at Iyiowa Odekpe community collapsed as a result of heavy flooding in the Anambra State.

Most riverine communities in the state have been submerged by flood.

An eyewitness said more buildings in the area are on the verge of collapsing as efforts are on by community residents to rescue those alive.
