Flying Eagles Boss Expects Difficult Tie Against Senegal In

Ladan Bosso, the Flying Eagles' head coach, expects a difficult clash against Senegal in Nigeria's opening fixture at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The tie against the Young Terangha Lions is billed for February 19 at the Cairo International Stadium.

Bosso's side will subsequently face hosts Egypt and Mozambique in Group A.

In an interview with BSN Sports, the head coach said, “Senegal will be the most difficult match for us because I have not seen them and they’ve not seen us play, though we need to know how to manage the situation and I am sure we will conquer them.”

The seven-time champions on Monday began the second phase of their preparation for the competition in Abuja.

They are also expected to leave for Morocco to camp at the end of this month.

The 2023 AFCON U-20 will hold from February 19 to March 11.
