Former president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, who served as president for 30 years has died at the age of 91 at the Military Hospital in Cairo, as confirmed by his brother in-law, General Mounir Thabet.
Mounir, a one-time high-profile military official, said that Hosni's family was still at the hospital and the Egyptian presidential office was working to organize a funeral.

The former leader ruled in Egypt from 1981 to 2011 when he was overthrown during the wave of the Arab Spring protests.
