The daughter of the former governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has died.
Sadiya Magatakarda Wamakko, 23, died from complications stemming from birth.
According to Television Continental (TVC), she died at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) in the state.

She was buried on Thursday night according to the Islamic rites.
The funeral prayer was conducted by the Chief Imam of the Sultan Bello Juma'at Mosque in Sokoto, Liman Malami Shehu Akwara.
