Former Manchester City captain and Legend, Vincent Kompany has retired from football at age 34, a year after leaving England for a player-manager position in native country Belgium. The former rock-solid center-back had a trophy-laden season during a 12-year spell at the Manchester Club.
The former Anderlecht man had over 340 appearances at the Etihad Stadium winning 4 Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 2 Community Shield. During his time at the Citizen.

He scored 20 goals which sometimes are very crucial to his team including his wonder strike from 20 yards out against Leicester in the 2018-19 season which helped his side to the second back to back Premier League title under Pep Guardiola.

He finally takes his leave and Football will always remember the name Vincent Kompany but he is not done yet, we might see him in the future in a manager role even at Manchester City.
