The Haiti’s National Police, has on Saturday, disclosed that a former senator sought in the killing of President Jovenel Moïse has been arrested in Jamaica.
The country’s Police Spokesman, Gary Desrosiers said to the Associated Press that John Joel Joseph was in custody for having a link in the murder case.
The senator, Joseph is a Haitian politician and he is the second suspect to be arrested in Jamaica for the case.
Also, in October last year, the Jamaican authorities arrested former Colombian soldier Mario Antonio Palacios Palacios. He was recently extradited by the U.S. and awaiting another court hearing.
Meanwhile, Jamaican Police Superintendent, Stephanie Lindsay said that other people were arrested along with the former senator.
