Four Killed In Kogi Palace Explosion

No fewer than four persons have died following an explosion which rocked the palace of the paramount ruler of Ebiraland, the Ohinoyi, Dr Ado Ibrahim.

Although no one has been able to identify the actual cause of the explosion, reports suggested that the inferno might be from a transformer in the monarch’s compound.

This is coming a few hours before the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari to commission some projects in the North-Central state.

As of the time of filing this report, police operatives of the Anti-Bomb Unit were at the scene of the incident.
