Free Sowore Protest: DSS Operatives Disperse Crowd With Gun

In an effort to disband the placard-armed protesters gathered around the service headquarters demanding the release of Omoyele Sowore, officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) fired shots into the air accompanied by pepper spray.

The operatives arrived in masks, chasing the protesters off the scene while Deji Adeyanju, organizer of the protest, was addressing the media, giving reasons behind the protest.

Noticing the reluctance of some of the protesters to clear the area, an operative drew his gun and shot sporadically into the air, which led to a fellow operative using his pepper spray on the protesters, effectively dispersing the crowd as they fled the scene
