French authorities have arrested an Italian national after a warrant was issued by Germany over 160 counts of raping or sexually assaulting his daughter and other minors.
The offender, a 52-year-old man, was seized last week Friday in Strasbourg for crimes he allegedly committed over a period of 14 years.
Over 122 investigations are ongoing into his case by the German authorities, France's BNRF fugitive tracking team stated.
“He operated in his various family circles,” it said.

He was said to have raped his daughter for 10 years starting in the year 2000 while doing the same to minor daughters of a different partner.
France was alerted by German authorities in October that he had fled to Alsace in France from Germany.
He was captured south of Strasbourg at the house of partner, and is being held in a prison near Colmar, waiting to be handed over to German authorities, BNRF revealed.
