FUD Ranks Best In Ethics And Integrity

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has been ranked by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission(ICPC) first in ethics and integrity among the federal universities in Nigeria.

This was contained in their 2022 Ethics and Integrity Compliance Scorecard published recently. 

In a statement signed by the Chief Information Officer, of the University, Abdullahi Yahaya Bello and made available to all news on Wednesday, FUD also ranked second among the agencies and parastatals under the Ministry of Education and seventh nationwide among all the Ministries, Departments, Agencies and Extra-Ministerial Departments.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, congratulated the staff and student for achieving the feat.

He added that the achievement could not have been recorded without the support and cooperation of the entire university.

He commended the resilience and competence of the FUD's Anti-Corrpuption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) under the able leadership of its Chairman and Secretary, Prof.Lawan Shuaibu and Mal. Shamsudeen Muhammad Kiru for doing a wonderful job of ensuring that the university comply with all the requirements of ICPC.

He called for vigilance among the university community in order to ensure that this standard is maintained at all times.
