Fuel: DSS Gives Distributors 48 Hours To Stop Scarcity

The Department of State Services (DSS) has instructed all the Nigerian companies involved in the distribution process to provide fuel to Nigerians at official rates or risk the wrath of the government.

DSS made the choice after becoming enraged over the country's ongoing petrol shortage.

This was the conclusion reached by the security agency and other parties involved in the gasoline supply chain following a strategy discussion on Thursday at the DSS headquarters in Abuja.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr Peter Afunanya, the DSS spokesman, assured the media that the agency would take action against anyone trying to undermine national security by creating artificial gasoline shortages.
