“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: If everybody is talking nicely about you and nobody comes up with a critical statement, then you have failed woefully.
PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: Anything that the enemy’s bringing to challenge you, let the power of God break the challenge into pieces in Jesus name.
Today, you are going to learn more about power to make the devil tremble. When you know what you are doing, the devil will tremble. When you don’t know what you are doing, he knows. Evil powers can see. So, we need to equip ourselves with spiritual weapons.
A sister, who was kidnapped, started praying and everything began to scatter in the place where she was kept. Her kidnappers gave her a serious warning against praying, but she persisted in praying silently. They sensed that she was still praying and ordered her to stop. She then used her finger to write the “blood of Jesus” on the ground. What followed was that the whole place started turning upside down, because of the power in that blood. You must know and understand the weapons that you have and be able to use them.
Today’s passage illustrates the power that resides in the name of Jesus. Evil spirits recognize that power and wherever they are calm when they are brought face to face with the name of Jesus and the power of the blood of the lamb, they become subdued and calm. The name of Jesus makes the evil spirit to scream. One single command given in the name of Jesus will silence powerful demons. We need power today.
Oh, how I wish that all believers will understand the raw power of God and experience the destructive impact it makes on the devil!! We need to witness in today’s churches and around us more of the amazement felt, by those who witnessed the demolition of “the spirit of an unclean devil” in the demon-possessed man healed by Jesus in the church at Capernaum.
MORNING
1. I cut myself off from all cobra, serpentine, and ancestral worship, in the name of Jesus.
2. I repent of all serpent worship, and the worship of animal deities and forces of air, fire, water, the nether world and nature, in the name of Jesus.
3. I command all serpentine and scorpion spirits to depart and go now, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
1. I release myself from ever y serpentine bites and poisons, in the name of Jesus.
2. Let every scorpion sets in motion against me be rendered sting-less, in the name of Jesus.
3. Let every serpent sets in motion against my spiritual progress be rendered venom-less, in the name of Jesus.
4. Let satanic serpents dispatched against me receive madness, in the name of Jesus.
