The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has released the Open Heavens Prayer Points for today Wednesday, 18 November 2020.

PERSONAL DAILY CONFESSION: I confess today, I overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony. I have placed the lord before me because He is on my right hand, I will not be moved by any known or unknown force. The wisdom of Christ infiltrates my being therefore I cannot be filled with any form of darkness. I see grace and peace of God in and around me always. No fear can take over me because I have the spirit of love and sound mind in Jesus name. Amen!
PRAYER POINTS
Thank You, Father, for the salvation of my soul and for the anointing of the Holy Ghost, that teaches us all things.
Thank You, Father, for sending Your word, which is the truth, which effectively works in us that believe.
Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, give me the grace to study Your word, regularly, to show myself approved, as a workman that needed not be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of truth, in Jesus’ name.
Father, fill me to the brim afresh, with Your Holy Spirit, that I may understand and be able to interpret Your word, the scripture, correctly, in Jesus’ name.
Father, break me down in areas that i still need to be broken; re-mould me, and use me, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
Father, give me the grace to be sensitive always, to the promptings, directives and leadings of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis, in Jesus’ name.
Holy Spirit, divine, please, give me the understanding of Your word, every time I read and study the Bible, in Jesus’ name.
Father, as many who are yet to know Jesus Christ, as their personal Lord and Saviour, please, send Your word to them today and bring them to Your saving grace, in Jesus’ name.
Father, bless Your son, Pastor E.A.Adeboye, and reveal more of Yourself unto him and his household, as they meditate on Your word, daily, in Jesus’ name.
Father, bless everyone dedicating their time to pray through these prayers & declarations at the point of their needs. Give them the grace to share/rebroadcast, in Jesus’ name.
Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus’ name.

Holy Spirit, take preeminence this Wednesday in my life and household and let Your name only be glorified

16. And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and these people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
17. Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

We are in the last days and there are different waves of doctrines in order to deceive those who are on the right path to turn towards the path that leads to hell.
Some preachers no longer talk about sin, they say God is love, He can never be angry with you; He can never hate you et cetera.
No doubt our God is love. He is a merciful God as well as a consuming fire.
There are different things that can make God angry; one of them is idolatry because He is a jealous God.
In summary, sin can make God angry. Jeremiah 25:6 says:
“And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.”
However, as angry as God can be, His anger does not last forever. It is only but for a moment, but there is a condition to fulfil.
When God is angry with a sinner, the best is to quickly repent and ask for mercy.
Living in sin perpetually will not only make God angry but also bring His wrath upon the sinner.
If you have been making God angry, today is another day for repentance. Ask God for mercy and never return to your vomit.

OPEN HEAVEN 18 NOVEMBER 2020 MESSAGE
The Bible, though written in plain English (or your native language) is still difficult for some people to understand.
This is because the letters do not carry the message; it is the Spirit of God that does. 2 Corinthians 3:6 say
“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”
You cannot understand the Scriptures without the help of the Holy Spirit, this is why many unbelievers keep misinterpreting it with some even calling it foolishness. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says:
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
When you pick your Bible to read, first pray, asking that the Holy Spirit gives you understanding.
You have to be sensitive to the Spirit also because He could be leading you to read a particular passage from where He wants to speak to you that day.
People vary in the depth of revelations they receive from the word of God and this is because of their varying levels of infilling by the Holy Spirit.
The more of the Holy Spirit you carry, the deeper the revelations you will get from the word of God.
You must also note that the word of God is new every time you read it.
Never approach any Scripture with familiarity. Many a-times, I read passages of the Bible that I had been reading for several years and the Holy Spirit interprets it to me in a completely different light.
The reason preachers are able to come up with new messages every day despite using the same version of the Bible for centuries is simply because the word of God is never old pray that God will expose the mysteries of His word to you every time you read it in the mighty name of Jesus.
Ask the Holy Spirit for understanding every time you read your Bible.
