The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has released the Open Heavens Prayer Points for today Wednesday, 23 September 2020.
AllNews understands that the Open Heavens is a daily devotional guide and prayer points for the RCCG by Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the church.

DAILY PERSONAL CONFESSION: I confess today; I am a champion in all areas of my life, nothing is impossible for me to do. I live a victorious and testimony filled life. Every day of my life I move from glory to glory, victory to victory because the one who is in me is greater than the one in the world. His name is Jesus, Hallelujah!
PRAYER POINTS
Heavenly Father, I magnify and worship Your name. Thank You for this awesome new dawn and grace to be alive

Father, whenever the temptation comes, for me to compromise my faith, please, quickly make a way of escape for me, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please, give me the grace to always look beyond my challenges, unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of my faith, in Jesus’ name.
Father, bless your son, Pastor E.A.Adeboye, his entire household and everyone working with them. Empower them to achieve all their set goals, dreams and visions, in Jesus’ name

23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Not everyone hears from God. It is better however, that you are amongst those that hear from Him because it will make your life beautiful.
To hear from God, your ears must be open because God seeks those whose ears are open to receive from and obey Him.
To hear from God, you must be awake, that is, you must be sensitive to His voice. Ephesians 5:14 says:
“Wherefore He saith, awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
God compares anyone that is sleeping to a dead person.
So you need to wake up, if you are sleeping in the spirit.
Note that this sleep is not the same as your state of mind and body when you are not performing any physical exercise and your eyes are closed while lying on a couch or a bed.
Rather, it is not watching and praying. When you don’t give quality time to prayer and fasting, then you are sleeping.
To hear from God, you also need to be close to Him. If you draw nearer to God, He will draw nearer to you.
You can draw nearer to Him by spending time in worship. Then you keep quiet and listen.
God will speak to you and when He does, obey promptly.

Who you look to will determine how far you go in life.
It can be a distraction sometimes to be surrounded by people who you think can help you as it would become hard for you to look to God for everything you need.
What can man give to you?, Can man keep you alive?, Man cannot even heal himself.
If he gives you money, can he give you prosperity?, Rather than run after men, spend time chasing God.
God can turn your life and that of your generation around forever.
You don’t need an appointment to see God; He is everywhere and willing to help you.
A life that looks to Jesus is a life of peace, joy and love.
A person who looks to Jesus would not depend on any man to live; his future is secured in Jesus Christ.
The Christian faith is a race and we cannot finish the race without the help of God.
Our confidence in succeeding in this race is placed in Jesus Christ!, We are encouraged to look unto Him and Him alone.
Turn away from your past failures successes, sins and so on, and look unto Jesus Christ.
We look to Christ because of who He is, what He did and where He reigns.
Who is He? He is the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus knows everything about our earthly race.
Indeed, He ran His in faith because He is the author and finisher of faith. He is the perfect example to follow.
When we look up to Jesus; He will perfect what He began in us.
Those who look unto God cannot be put to shame. You cannot trust in God and be put to shame.
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
Psalms 121:1-2 Never look unto man; look to Jesus alone, He is higher than the highest.
He is a very present help when you are faced with life’s challenges (Psalms 46:1).
