Nollywood actress and the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Funke Akindele clocked 45 on August 24.
To celebrate, Akindele took to her Instagram page to share with her fans stunning photos of herself.
Despite their marital crisis, her estranged husband, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz also sent a birthday prayer to her.
He shared a video which is a collage of her photos via his Instagram on Wednesday and prayed that the children they have together be a blessing to generations.
“Happy birthday my darling mama ibeji ?@funkejenifaakindele I pray our children embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations.
"Today is your day, celebrate and live to the fullest.Long life and prosperity,” he captioned.
Akindele first came into the limelight when she played the role of a secondary school girl, Bisi, in a sitcom, sponsored by the United Nations Population Fund (UNPF), ‘I Need to Know’ in 1998.
The comedy soap opera ran from 1998 to 2002.
Her major break came when she played the role of a local girl in the movie ‘Jenifa’.
She has gone ahead to make a name for herself in the Nigerian entertainment industry with her role interpretation which she extended to her own soap opera.
