Ganduje: APC speaks on latest suspension, makes fresh demand

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the party's national chairman, being suspended again.

Allnews.ng had earlier reported that another APC group also suspended Ganduje.

In response to the development on Sunday, Ahmed Muhammed Ganduje and Usaini Jibrinn, chairman and secretary of Ganduje ward in Kano State's Dawakin Tofa local government, stated that no fresh election was held by the APC's state or national bodies.

According to a statement made accessible to reporters, the sponsored group was unable to do their homework properly because they used a phoney or uncertified headed paper to draw a list of non-existing party executives.

“To the best of our knowledge, as executive members of Ganduje ward of the APC, there was no new election of new leadership of our party. We remain the same executive of the ward,” the statement added.

The executive members then urged the national body to help assist in the arrest and prosecution of the group's impersonators who were seeking to cause the group's persecution for impersonation.

They also urged party members to avoid misinformation aimed at destabilising the party.
