Ganduje Receives NNPP Supporters, Others In Kano

Kano State Chapter of the ruling  All Progressives Congress (APC) has received more defectors ahead of the February and March general elections in Dambatta and Makoda Local Government Areas of the state.

 The latest saw another set of ADC supporters led by its candidate for the House of Representatives for DAMBATTA/Makoda federal constituency, Sani Buhari Ubanta, and an NNPP stalwart in the area, Mansur Haruna, defecting to the APC on Saturday.

They were received into the party by GovAbdullahi  Ganduje.

They said the reason for their defection is the hope they have in the party.

Speaking at the event, Kano Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje urged the people of Dambatta and Makoda Local Government Areas to vote for the APC candidates in the forthcoming election for continuity.

Also speaking to supporters, APC flag bearer in the state, Dr Nasiru Gawuna, promised to run an open government, if elected.

He emphasized that victory was from God.

Gawuna stated that from all indications, they would emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections, and urged the people of the area to massively vote for him and the other APC candidates during the polls.
