A High Court sitting in Rivers State has barred Victor Giadom from calling himself the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as part of the series of drama emerging from the party.
The judge who gave the ruling, Justice Florence Fibresima, pronounced Giadom as unfit and unqualified to act as chairman of the party, as he had stepped down as the Deputy National Secretary of the party in 2018 to participate in the 2019 election as Rivers State Deputy Governor.

Justice Florence ruled that owing to Giadom's resignation, he no longer is recognised as a member of the National Working Committee of the party, and therefore, cannot serve in the capacity he touts himself to be in.
He has also been barred by the court from making any move on the behalf of the APC as Acting National Chairman or as National Chairman.
