American R&B singer Chris Brown has perfectly hacked the Afrobeats sound and this is quite evident in his verse on Fireboy DML's ‘Diana’ featuring Jamaican singer Shenseea.
‘Diana’ is off Fireboy's third studio album ‘Playboy’ which was released on Friday, August 5, 2022.
His perfect delivery and the ability to blend this on this Afrobeats song earned him accolades as netizens joked that he might actually have Nigerian ancestry.
‘Diana’ is not the first Afrobeats song that Chris Brown has worked on. He has featured on the remix of Lojay's ‘Monalisa.
He has also collaborated with Davido on singles like ‘Shopping Spree’, ‘Blow My Mind’ and recently-released ‘Nobody Has To Know’. Wizkid is also not left out.
Both singers have worked on ‘African Bad Gyal’ and also ‘Call Me Every Day’.
