Give Them Wings: Fidelity Bank Celebrates Customers, Staff

Fidelity Bank Plc launched a musical event tagged “Give Them Wings” at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotels and Suites to recognize and celebrate its customers and staffs

The event was anchored by Nollywood actress Henshaw Kate and Big Brother anchor Ebuka. The show was an epical event for both staff and customers.

In the light of merriment, Fidelity Bank CEO, Nnamdi Okonkwo said the concept behind the title of the event “give them wings”  is to show the effort of the bank towards supporting people.

“The reason we are saying this year’s celebration is “Give Them Wings”, we are symbolizing how Fidelity has been supporting people who otherwise will have no opportunity,” Nnamdi Okonkwo said.

Honoring the event were important business icons, policymakers, CEOs, bankers and celebrities including Aliko Dangote, Zenith Bank’s Jim Ovia, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi. Also, Tim Godfrey, Kcee, Niniola, and Flavour were also represented as they performed live at the event.

While addressing the audience on the bank’s achievements and listing out awards, the CEO of Fidelity bank Group noted that the bank has moved from “strength to strength”.

Meanwhile, Part of the award announced was the bank’s award and the customers' award.

Fidelity Bank Plc. won the ‘Best Digital Networking Bank For Entrepreneurs, Africa 2019’ at 2019 PWM Wealth Tech Awards held in London, United Kingdom (UK) and within a short interval, the bank won the second position award on Sustainable Agricultural Transaction for its compliance with the sustainable banking and also moved up four places to reach second on the 2019 Nigeria Banking Industry Customer Experience Survey, recently published by the renowned audit and consultancy firm, KPMG.
