Netflix's latest Nollywood film Glamour Girls is getting shredded on social media, with fans expressing disappointment over a film that many expected far more from.
A remake of the 1994 film about independent single ladies embarking on their own paths in the quest for financial fulfilment, the 2022 version explores the world of high-end escorts and the chance some ladies get to reinvent the glamourous lifestyle.
Glamour Girls stars Nse Ikpe-Etim, Sharon Ooja, Toke Makinwa, Joselyn Dumas, and others.
Currently a trending topic on Twitter, the film which is directed by Bunmi Ajakaiye is getting ripped apart by fans and their reactions make for an interesting read.

I feel like nollywood should start investing more in the story and the writing than making the film appear expensive.#glamourgirls

When I saw the teaser and trailer for Glamour Girls, I knew it was going to be a tyre fire. I only watched because I really wanted to be wrong.

"Glamour Girls" plays like they shot a 20-episode series, and then Netflix shouted "what?! Who tell una to do season feem? Na 2-hour feem we tell una na! Oya summarize am!"

So they edited it down to 2 hours, and cut out many things.
Including the plot.
I just watched glamour girls. All of you that hyped that movie, my God will Judge you for making me waste two hours ?

More people should watch Glamour girls on Netflix so that we can chook head together to understand how 2 flash drives magically became 3 in the last scene.

So none of the actors in Glamour Girls stopped during the shooting of the movie to ask "what are we doing?"

This has to be the worst Nollywood movie I've seen in recent years.
Glamour Girls, which is intended to be a remake of the 90s movie of the same title, is just high-quality footage of cringeworthy scenes, bad acting, and atrocious dialogues. The good thing about the movie is, you don’t have to go far in wasting your data before establishing this.

And this is the best?
Anywhere i see charles, it’s on sight.
I’ve followed Twitter dramas that were better scripted than Glamour Girls.
