Gombe gets new immigration boss Akinrinsola

The newly posted Comptroller of Immigration to Gombe, E.O. Akinrinsola assumed duty on Monday and pledged to work in partnership with the state government in the interest of the state and Nigeria.

Akinrinsola pledged when he led some senior officers of the Service to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi for a familiarization visit. 

He applauded the State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for the massive transformation in the state.

As contained in a statement on Monday by Joshua Danmalam, the Information Officer, Office of the SSG, the immigration boss assured of his office's readiness to partner with the State Government in the areas of security.

He added, "The service is now re-energized with the instrument of improved technology to deliver passports in 48 hours."

While thanking the State Government for supporting his predecessor, the comptroller called for more such support to be extended to the service for it to function effectively.

According to Danmalam, the SSG had while welcoming the comptroller, assured the service that the Government will continue to provide all the necessary support for it to function optimally.

He disclosed: "The administration of Governor Inuwa Yahaya is committed towards the welfare of Federal agencies in the state."
