Gombe Governor Gives Out Aide's Daughter's Hand In Marriage

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has given out the hand of the daughter of his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Musa Habibu in marriage.

The wedding took place at the Masjidul Taqwa, Gombe GRA.

The wedding fatiha which was between Khadija Musa and Dr. Ahmad M. Ibrahim was presided over by Sheikh Musa Adam Maihula. 

This was contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, spokesperson to the governor, on Saturday. 

The governor stood in as the representative for the bride while Alhaji Alhassan Baraden Kwami served as Wakil for the groom.

The sum of N100,000 was paid as dowry in line with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ( SAW).

The wedding fatiha attracted dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor, Manassah Daniel Jatau, Speaker of Gombe State House of Assembly, Abubakar Mohammed Luggerewo, and other members of the assembly.

Others were the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, Head of Service, Bappayo Yahaya, Commissioners, Advisers, Directors General, Local Government Chairmen, Traditional rulers, including the Emirs of Pindiga and Yamaltu, Senior District Head of Gombe and that of Kwami, Managing Director of Lubel Nigeria Limited, Arc Yunusa Yakubu among other friends, associates and colleagues of the bride's father.
