The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has set up a task force for the completion and take-off of three mega schools in the state.
The schools include Government Secondary School (GSS) Dukku Local Government Area, Government Comprehensive Day Secondary School Dadin-Kowa and Government Science Secondary School Lakanje-Kaltungo.
This was disclosed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi today in Gombe.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson to the governor, Ismaila Uba Misilli said the task force include the state coordinating team and sub-committees for the respective schools.
According to him the state coordinating committee include the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Maji Dauda Batari serving as Chairman.
Other members include: Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, .Hon. Idris Abdullahi, Prof. Keftin Amuga, Mrs. Naomi P. Maiguwa, Engr. Mohammed Tasiu Adamu, Shehu Ibrahim Yerima, the Director General/Coordinator North East Development Commission (NEDC) Gombe State among others.
Meanwhile, the task force is expected to submit reports of their achievement in the course of their assignment.
According to the statement, the task force will submit its final report in December this year.
