Gombe Governor Visits Ribadu, Extends Goodwill Message

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has visited the National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, at his office in Abuja.

Governor Yahaya who is also the Chairman of the Northern States Governors' Forum, extended a goodwill message to the NSA during the visit on Wednesday. 

He noted that the visit was to extend solidarity and best wishes on behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, as well as the entire Northern Region. 

Governor Yahaya also took the opportunity to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Ribadu to the position.

He further hailed the appointment of Ribadu as a "round peg in a round hole," emphasizing his confidence in Ribadu's ability to effectively coordinate the activities of security chiefs and foster inter-agency synergy. 

The governor's spokesperson, Ismaila Uba Misilli, made this known in a statement on Wednesday. 

According to Misilli, the governor was accompanied by the Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Malam Muhammad Kabir Usman Kukandaka.
