The Chairman of the committee, Ibrahim Jalo Daudu, said the objective of the meeting was to provide an overview of the committee's responsibilities and duties, as well as to discuss the roles and responsibilities expected of the permanent secretaries during the transition period.

Addressing the attendees, Daudu emphasized the importance of a smooth and effective transition from the previous administration to the new administration which was sworn in on May 29.
