'Good Police': Stephanie Linus Advocates Police Protection For Victims Of Gender-Based Violence

**Stephanie Linus makes another statement on the police force playing a vital role in protecting victims of gender-based violence in yet another release, the short film Good Police.**

The central theme of the latest short film from the veteran actress is the direct opposite of her last one; a young woman ignores the advice of her best friend not to reveal her ordeal at the hands of her husband, a wife-beater.

After being pummeled by her husband for the umpteenth time, Linda runs to the police station to report that she is a victim of domestic violence. Contrary to the lackadaisical attitude of the typical officers, she is offered help and taken to the unit where her case can be treated.

With Good Police, Stephanie Linus advocates full disclosure on the part of the victims of gender-based violence. They shouldn't keep their bitter experiences to themselves because they never know what difference reaching out for help could make.

Also, going to the police for help in spite of the bad eggs in the force is the right thing to do. One should never generalize by writing them all off as incompetent and uncaring. There are those among them who are actually helping those in need.

Linus while uploading the video of the short film on her Instagram page, disclosed that their goal with the #HeyWomanSeries is to tell their stories from different perspectives.

She urges members of the public who know people who are victims of gender-based violence or are victims themselves to not be discouraged in their search for justice as help is available.
