Good Roads Essential For Economic Development — Garo

Kano State Commissioner of local governments, Murtala Sule Garo said the Kano government's approval of now completed roads linking the eight wards of Kabo local government has immensely contributed to the socio-economic welfare of the people.

The commissioner stated this today during the distribution of empowerment package to over 1, 000 youths and women at Kabo local government, adding that roads are vital to economic development.

He said the BUK's new site road linking Tofa, to Rimi Gado, Kabo up to Rogo has made it easier for commuters and other road users.

Garo appreciated Kano Government for swiftly making these approvals.

He also noted that upgrading two primary health care facilities to general hospitals, one of which is under construction, while the other has been completed will make it easier to access their daily health needs.

Also speaking at the event, the majority leader at the House of Representatives, Alasan Ado Doguwa appreciated the State's efforts toward the development of girl child education.

He boasted about his children studying at Sudan and other places, attributing it to the training from the Kano first family.

Doguwa also sent a political message to aggrieved APC Members, saying Ganduje is the rallying, focal point in Kano.

The G7 of the APC have registered their complaints to the National body of the party and subsequently instituted a legal means to lead the Kano APC after a parallel Congress.
