Google introduces device switching feature for Meet calls

Google has introduced a new feature called "Switch here" on Google Meet, allowing users to transition seamlessly between devices during meetings.

This feature enables users to move an active Meet call from their computer to their smartphone, or vice versa, without disruptions.

Additionally, users now have the option to join a call from two different devices simultaneously.

This flexibility allows users to have their call active on multiple devices, such as a kitchen tablet and office computer, facilitating multitasking scenarios.

The "Switch here" button appears on the meeting window of the other device while a call is active, facilitating a smooth transition between devices.

This feature is available to both personal Google accounts and Workspace customers and is currently being rolled out to users.
