Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo is engaged to the resident pastor at WaterBrook Church, Blessed Uzochikwa.
The Nigerian Idol Season 2 winner announced her engagement with adorable photos of herself and her fiancé on her Instagram page on Thursday evening.
“I am blessed to be blessed with @theofficialblessed.
"The thoughts of doing the next phase and the rest phase of my life with you makes the blessing more real?
"I love you Sweet,” she captioned the post.
Chinwo also shared the proposal video on her official YouTube channel.
In the video, she said it was unexpected but had suspected that something wanted to happen with the way her friends were telling her to dress well.
She expressed her gratitude to God for making her engagement happen at the right time.
